This is one sweet, stylin’ tote bag!! The bag is sewn from a Sotak pattern, which IMHO are some of the best bag patterns around. And the fabric? Well, it is one of my most popular and requested patterns for bags. I even used it to wallpaper my quilting shop!
If the size you want is sold out, just message me. All sizes can be reordered. There may be some variation on the lining fabrics.
There are three sizes available:
--The Chunky size bag (think XL) measures 11” wide x 13” tall x 8” deep (1,144 cubic inches) so it holds A LOT! The uses are endless including, but certainly not limited to, airline carry-on, car tote, beach bag, shopping bag, overnight bag, purse (will hold everything you need with room to spare), project bag, art supplies bag…if you can think of it, this bag can carry it. Ok, so it won’t carry a car or kayak, but you get the idea.
--The Everyday size bag (think large) measures 12.5” wide x 14.5” tall x 3.5” deep (634 cubic inches). So it hold a lot of stuff too! The everyday bag has slightly larger width and height as the Chunky size, with half the depth. This can also be used as an airline carry-on, car tote, beach bag, shopping bag, overnight bag, purse, project bag, art supplies bag, and has many, many other uses.
--The Small size bag (think medium - it's not really that small) measures 10.5" wide x 13" tall, by 2.5" deep (341 cubic inches). Small, but can hold a lot of that smaller stuff. It will hold your wallet, checkbook (for those who still carry one), phone, keys, glasses and have plenty of room left over for books or journals and other small shopping items and has many, many other uses.
This main exterior fabric is a Spoonflower cotton linen canvas. The design features a Scandinavian style yellow and flower on a great background. Duck canvas makes up the sturdy bottom of the bag.
The bag is faced with the same floral pattern as the main exterior. A medium-weight interfacing (SF 101) is used for added stability. A high quality quilting cotton is used for the lining. A magnetic snap holds the tops of the bag together.
The handles are 3/4” wide and made from the same gray duck as the bottom of the bag. The handles are long enough (23” end-to-end) for shoulder carry and feature 4 rows of top-stitching for a very sturdy, yet comfortable grip.
Fabric is preshrunk. Bags are machine washable, but I recommend spot cleaning or hand wash/dry. These bags iron well if needed.
You are going to want one of these bags. Seriously.
